Interview with Sue Langley at the HR ANZ Summit.
Are we creating the right environment for people to really show their talents and be recognised at work? Have we even noticed what they are?
Everyone’s got talent. The more we recognise this, the more potential we can tap—for the benefit of individuals and the organisation as a whole. Often in HR or organisationsal talent programs, we take a nine-box approach to identifying and developing the most talented people. It’s a limited approach that misses what many employees have to offer. Spotting and developing people’s strengths and growth potential is far more powerful and sustainable.
Sue Langley spoke at the HR ANZ Summit in 2013 about strengths-based approaches to talent, performance and potential. She shares her perspective and top tips in this post-conference interview.
