The Strengths Profile is a psychometric assessment tool developed by Cappfinity, focusing on identifying an individual’s strengths in a nuanced way.

The assessment is grounded in positive psychology principles, focusing on maximising potential through strength development rather than fixing weaknesses. Understanding and strategically applying your strengths can lead to greater engagement, performance, and well-being. The tool measures 60 different strengths across the three dimensions of performance, energy, and use.  It provides personalised development recommendations based on each individual profile.

Reports are available in multiple formats at different price points including introductory, expert, team, leader and manager. The Strengths Profile assessment categorises the 60 strengths into four distinct quadrants:

  1. Realised Strengths: These are strengths you use regularly and perform well. The assessment recommends celebrating and moderating these strengths to avoid overuse.
  2. Unrealised Strengths: These are strengths you perform well at but don’t use frequently. The assessment encourages individuals to find opportunities to use these more often.
  3. Learned Behaviours: These are activities you can do well but may find draining. They’re skills you’ve developed but don’t energise you. The assessment suggests using these sparingly.
  4. Weaknesses: These are activities you find difficult and don’t enjoy. The assessment recommends minimising or finding strategies to manage these areas.

The Strengths Profile supports coaching, career planning, team collaboration, leadership development, and recruitment by unleashing individual and organisational potential through targeted strength identification and strategic application.
