What information do we collect on our websites?
We collect information from you when you fill out a form, order a product or register for a course. When ordering, registering, downloading a free resource, subscribing to our newsletters or contacting us you may be asked to enter your name, email address and details. You may also visit our site anonymously.
How is subscriber and client information used?
We value the privacy of our subscribers and clients. We use the information of subscribers and clients to personalise their experience on our site and provide them with news, articles, event updates and information about new or upgraded products. Please keep your contact details up to date when you change emails so you can keep receiving newsletters and information from us. You can unsubscribe at any time.

When purchasing from Langley Group or our partner companies your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.

Disclosure of client information and communications
We will not otherwise disclose subscriber or client personal and account information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of the Langley Group, our clients, or others, or where we have a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.
We also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that we store or transmit for its clients. The circumstances under which we will disclose such electronic client communications are when:
- It is necessary in order to provide service to the client;
- It is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Langley Group and its clients;
- It is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, or other legal processes that Langley Group determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
- It is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently obtained by Langley Group and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind after purchasing a product. You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
